Abseil

Ask your friends for help!  You always need good volunteers to help you in your efforts – friends are the best people to ask.

Art –are you creative? Why not get a group of like minded people together and hold an exhibition/discussion? Charge an entrance fee.

Auction – Have you got anything that you can auction?  It doesn’t have to be a Monet you could hold a slave auction and get people to volunteer as butlers/maids for the day.

All day events Ask your local pub or sports club if they can arrange a 24-hour sponsored event such as darts, dominos or bridge.

Aerobics If you enjoy keeping fit - or want to start - why not get people to sponsor you over a certain time?

Baby competition – ask colleagues or friends to bring in baby photos of themselves. People pay to guess who's who – great fun and prizes for the winners

Bring and buy, at work, in your garden, school or church.

Black Tie Ball – get dressed up, have great food, music and donate your profits to the Five Stars Appeal.

X-ercise - “Xtra, Xtra read all about it” – write a press release about your activity (we can help), or write to the Letter’s Page of your local newspaper for support, sponsorship and promotion.

Young and old – organise a big family reunion for all ages. Ask for donations, they’re bound to vie with each other over who gives you the most!
