Charmaine Wilkinson is Appeals Director for Five Stars Scanner Appeal. She was present at the first charity event in the Wallness Pub in Salford on 6th July 1976 and has been involved in all the fundraising projects to date. She is proud to have worked with all previous Chairmen - Cllr Dr Joe Jaffe who founded the charity, Frank (Foo Foo) Lammar, Bryan Robson OBE, Peter Dickinson, John Malpass, David Reid and currently Mandy Smith. The charity has successfully raised millions of pounds for various items of equipment for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and both the charity and Charmaine hope that it will continue to do so.
