Brave Prestwich woman Rachel Stretch's Arctic challenge despite brain tumour
Rachel Stretch, from Prestwich who was told she would be very lucky to live for five years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour is determined to fight the disease.
Rachel is aiming to raise £20,000 for the charities supporting her and, to show her determination, is taking on an Arctic husky sled ride in sub-zero temperatures.
Rachel, aged 41, of Agecroft Road West, spent six months violently vomiting and suffering ‘agonising’ pain in her head, before being diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4 (GBM 4) malignant brain tumour.
